And it is meant for all fathers, as traditionally in some Swiss regions, December 6th was celebrated as father's day.
Today better known as Saint Nicholas Day: "Saint Nicholas of Myra (traditionally 15 March 270 – 6 December 343), also known as Nicholas of Bari, was an early Christian bishop of Greek descent from the maritime city of Myra in Asia Minor during the time of the Roman Empire. Myra is known as modern-day Demre in Turkey.
He was also named as (because of the many miracles attributed to him) Nicholas the Wonderworker.
Saint Nicholas is the patron saint of sailors, merchants, archers, repentant thieves, children, brewers, pawnbrokers, unmarried people, and students in various cities and countries around Europe. His legendary habit of secret gift-giving gave rise to the traditional model of Santa 🎅🏻 through Sinterklaas."*
So this man knows a bit the region where we go today. He came from Turkey. Turkish also a language with Persian background (origin). In Iran people speak Farsi a Persian language.
So today I have a dream. I have a dream that all fathers on this globe stand up for their daughters. And especially for the daughters in Iran, the sisters who fight with their brothers against a religious sect, a theocratic minority who oppresses the majority of the people in Iran whose only wish is to be able to have the right to choose what they want to wear, what they want to eat and what they want to speak or talk about. This fight is about freedom of speech and free expression of emotions like love and happiness! These young people want to be able to show their love and affection openly and in public by singing, dancing and kissing.
Iran's daughters are tortured, raped and killed this very moment by a regime that does not want his people to be happy. They shoot children, male and female, because they ask for liberty, equality and brother- and sisterhood.
May Saint Nicholas bring them peace 🕊!
Please dear fathers of this planet 🌍, hear their cries and see their tears💧. Please help to bring insight to the leaders of this cruel regime, insight .....
